Beauty Around Us interacts with a deep part of my personal identity, highlighting themes of Iranian Diaspora from my perspective as an American of Iranian descent.
Graffiti is seen all across the world and is used to anonymously spread messages as well as speak for those who may not be heard.
Beauty Around Us combines these ideas, creating a fictional urban wall allowing me to express a feeling of disconnection from my own culture.
